Radiohead fails to give away tickets

The band tried to get their green message across but are soundly ignored.

Radiohead gave away 50 tickets to one of their shows in Paris, France, but only 15 people were interested, leaving 35 tickets unclaimed.

Thom Yorke and the band announced that 50 tickets were available on a first-come, first-served basis, but there was a catch. People would have to come get the tickets by bicycle. A source close to the band told the U.K. Sun, "Radiohead are using their current world tour to highlight their commitment to green issues.

"They advise all gig-goers to use public transport and are doing all they can to make their carbon footprint as small as possible.

"Unfortunately the French didn't appear to share their noble intentions and ignored the free ticket tactic." "
