Perfect.

If anyone ever asks you "What sort of a sense of humour does Andrew Root have?" then this is your answer. This is the mind-blowingest, funniest thing I have ever seen (specifically from 2:30 in):

Andrew Root vs. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

I said (to Liz) a while back that Scott Pilgrim vs. the World will likely be the best movie I've ever seen or a major major disappointment. Nevertheless, I can't help but be very very excited about this film. So much so that I've used the same word twice twice to underline my excitement in every sentence so far!

I love Edgar Wright. I've been watching "Spaced" recently, and I can't get enough of his kinetic, referential style of directing. Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz were epic movie experiences, and I really need to see them again. My one major regret this year has been to find out that I could have attended a Spaced marathon in Toronto with Edgar Wright live in person, and I only learned of its existence 2 days after it had finished. BLAST!

Either way, I am caught up on the Scott Pilgrim series of books, and they are so good. I fear that I am falling hard for yet another fictional character. Ramona V. Flowers... why can't girls like you exist in my life?

THE PLAN: The day that Scott Pilgrim debuts, host an Edgar Wright film fest.
